  • Good luck, Ham.

I've been languishing ever since Invention was introduced, and also Slayer was raised to 120.

I was actually chipping away at comp before that, but heh, Jagex noticed too many bored teen and young adult players, and poured heaps more content in.

I hate it when burnout happens... but I do have other games when I'm not struggling to be a responsible middle-aged disabled dad.

    Two back surgeries, now. Yeah.

  • It's Hameigh!

I just stopped by the forum for the first time in years.... was cleaning out some passwords and saw my forum password was still saved. Awesome to see TDM is still kicking!

  • Hey Jak,

Hopefully you don't need more surgery, we're always glad to see familiar faces :)

  • Heya Penguie. Hiya Tzara.

Unfortunately, I'm possibly facing 3rd and 4th surgeries, starting with a bariatric sleeve procedure. Although I lost about 60 pounds (apologies to non-US Monkeighs- I don't know what that is in stone or kg) after scoring a Dx of prediabetes and adopting a counting carbohydrates way of eating for life, I still need to lose 100 more before my orthopedic surgeon will do anything about the wrecked ver between my L4/L5 vertebrae. Another fusion may be needed.

  • That is rough, I'm glad to hear the low carb is working for you, I imagine not a lot of exercise is possible with back injuries.

My thoughts are with you on your journey, and hopefully you turn around and have a happy new year  <3
